More than 20 local nonprofits and town boards participated in the first annual Pembroke Volunteer Fair held at the Community Center on April 26.
Residents had the opportunity to meet representatives from the Food Pantry, Historical Society, Conservation Commission, youth sports leagues, and more. Over 85 people signed up for volunteer opportunities on the spot.
Organizers hope to make the fair an annual event. The next one is planned for fall 2026.
